Expanding Employer Sponsored Pathways to Permanent Residence (PR)

From 25 November 2023 (subject to the approval of regulation changes), the Australian Government will be making changes to the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) (subclass 482) and Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream of the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) (subclass 186) visas to provide a simpler and clearer pathway to permanent residence for TSS visa holders.

408 visa (COVID Pandemic Stream) is going to close gradually

The Minister for Home Affairs has released news that the 408 visa (COVID Pandemic Stream) is going to close gradually. From 2 September 2023 there will be a filing fee of $405 and the visa duration will be 6 months, and only for existing 408 visa (COVID Pandemic Stream).
